Something HOPEFUL, yet again

Something hopeful is brewing....and yes, Sun does it again...ThiS Time, the international pop sensation partners with Grammy award winner, pop icon Olivia Newton-John in the latter's album entitled "Songs of Hope and Inspiration: Olivia and Friends". Newton-John has previously led athletes, celebrities and Olympians on a 21-day walk to raise funds for cancer patients.

This song, "Isn't It Amazing" is defining as it gives yet another glimpse of hope for the 'down and out' even as Sun's sensational and signature voice blends in perfect harmony with the Grammy winner.

Here's what we are talking about...something meaningful, for a greater CAUSE, and something artistic. It isn't that hard to make a difference isn't it? Religions, theology and philosophical debates aside, we see an epitome of someone as simple as Sun can truly contribute to a greater cause. No fanfare is needed and she does it the same!!! =)

Hey hey!!! Sun is back again...doing something out of the usual, always full of surprises...she is guest-starring in Wyclef Jean's fastcar MV!!! I see it as something of a breakthrough from her usual....I'm so proud of Sun as she shares an unusual role as a mean villain, determined to wreck havoc while Wyclef appears to be the hero in the MV. This new hot video showcases Sun as a versatile and flexible pop star and I will think it is very reason why she is specially starring in this MV...kudos!!! Sun in MTV Europe Music Awards 2007

Sun has made the news again! In the recent MTV Europe Music Awards, Sun graced the occasion with Haitian-American music producer cum rapper Wyclef Jean. Wow, what an honor man. It is no wonder for our very own Asian sensation! Consider me bias, but I thought that Wyclef Jean should also feel honored to have partnered with Sun.

And like the previous posts, I will give you a glimpse of what happened when the duo graced the stage and sang China wine..=)

Also, Sun went on to meet international sensations like Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. I wish I was there with her too...

Indeed...Sina.com has reported in the chinese that Sun is donating $350,000 from her royalties to build a school in Henan, a PRC province. The many things that she has done for the unfortunate and the helpless really makes Sun Ho an extraordinary singer. A singer with a great heart. RepresentinG Singapore =).

Sun, not just Special Olympics' ambassador...

Hey well...you've guessed it...our very own Sun Ho is not merely the recent Special Olympics ambassador...I will dub her our very own Singapore's ambassador...politics? state-to-state relations? nah..nothing of that sort...BUT our cultural ambassador...after all anyone that represents Singapore is in a way an ambassador and we must be proud of them rite?

The recent Singapore Season in Beijing is a cultural event promoting Singapore's cuisine, arts and fashion and the like. Attending the event is our very own Senior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. I was wondering who can be the best representative of (Singapore's) arts and fashion then our own HE YAO SUN or SUN HO!!??!! She is our fashionista, international pop sensation and beyond that, she sings with a great heart..reaching out in the Special Olympics...man...not just brawns but brains PLUS character and talents! She is featured in the finale item...that sure is a great way to end the whole gala =)

I am way proud of her...and SO SHOULD YOU! =P

wow wow wow...this video is amazing...really displays the vocals of Sun Ho in this Special Olympics Theme Song...if I ain wrong, the Special Olympics is for the intellectually challenged athletes...what a noble thing that Sun and Sun Nan has done...Listening to this song and watching this youtube video really thrills me for more great strides Sun will be making in the years to come especially in the months leading to the Olympics! I was just blasting the song, China wine, AGAIN in my bedroom...I really enjoy this song...I think that this song is really plain out-of-the-box if you know what I mean by that...It is just something different for Sun and...a breakthru in this Jamaican and Reggae genre...I couldn't count any longer exactly the number of times I have heard this song...so kool!!! To all the Singaporeans who may think that this song is just too sexy and hot for home-grown artistes like Sun, then...I will say that I would rather want a hot Sun Ho...one that everyone can enjoy and identify with...rather than just plain, old, boring artistes like others...woo hoo! Ooops...sorry to the critics...=P

Sun chosen to be ambassador for Beijing Olympics 2008

Kudos to Sun for being elected as the music ambassador of the Beijing 2008 Olympics!!! Sun has most recently (11 June 2007) been appointed as the sole music ambassador the Beijing Organizing Committee. Hooray!!! I am so proud of her that she is really making such an impact as a singer out there. Her songs are always so touching, inspiring and uplifting no wonder she is chosen to be the SOLE music ambassador =P

Now Sun will have to make visits to several universities in Beijing and Shanghai. Beginning this tour circuit in August, she will perform and talk to the students about songwriting, and in the process, allow the students to have a feel of international music. Sun will also help them in making their songwriting and their songs more presentable so that “it will be selected for performance at the Olympics.” In that way, she is the MENTOR for the song-generating "machinery" in China...Wow!

I am so happy that she is chosen to be the music ambassador because this is one of the best ways to recognize her singing talents!!! =)
