Something HOPEFUL, yet again

Something hopeful is brewing....and yes, Sun does it again...ThiS Time, the international pop sensation partners with Grammy award winner, pop icon Olivia Newton-John in the latter's album entitled "Songs of Hope and Inspiration: Olivia and Friends". Newton-John has previously led athletes, celebrities and Olympians on a 21-day walk to raise funds for cancer patients.

This song, "Isn't It Amazing" is defining as it gives yet another glimpse of hope for the 'down and out' even as Sun's sensational and signature voice blends in perfect harmony with the Grammy winner.

Here's what we are talking about...something meaningful, for a greater CAUSE, and something artistic. It isn't that hard to make a difference isn't it? Religions, theology and philosophical debates aside, we see an epitome of someone as simple as Sun can truly contribute to a greater cause. No fanfare is needed and she does it the same!!! =)

Hey hey!!! Sun is back again...doing something out of the usual, always full of surprises...she is guest-starring in Wyclef Jean's fastcar MV!!! I see it as something of a breakthrough from her usual....I'm so proud of Sun as she shares an unusual role as a mean villain, determined to wreck havoc while Wyclef appears to be the hero in the MV. This new hot video showcases Sun as a versatile and flexible pop star and I will think it is very reason why she is specially starring in this MV...kudos!!! Sun in MTV Europe Music Awards 2007

Sun has made the news again! In the recent MTV Europe Music Awards, Sun graced the occasion with Haitian-American music producer cum rapper Wyclef Jean. Wow, what an honor man. It is no wonder for our very own Asian sensation! Consider me bias, but I thought that Wyclef Jean should also feel honored to have partnered with Sun.

And like the previous posts, I will give you a glimpse of what happened when the duo graced the stage and sang China wine..=)

Also, Sun went on to meet international sensations like Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. I wish I was there with her too...

Sun Ho...international sensation cum SOCIAL WORKER =)

Indeed...Sina.com has reported in the chinese that Sun is donating $350,000 from her royalties to build a school in Henan, a PRC province. The report adds that this will help solve the schooling problems of 600 school children...This really touches my heart as I was just reflecting on how she has been doing her very own part in the recent Beijing Special Olympics...Here is the weblink for that chinese article: http://ent.sina.com.cn/s/h/2007-10-16/15311751163.shtml. The many things that she has done for the unfortunate and the helpless really makes Sun Ho an extraordinary singer. A singer with a great heart. RepresentinG Singapore =).

Sun, not just Special Olympics' ambassador...

Hey well...you've guessed it...our very own Sun Ho is not merely the recent Special Olympics ambassador...I will dub her our very own Singapore's ambassador...politics? state-to-state relations? nah..nothing of that sort...BUT our cultural ambassador...after all anyone that represents Singapore is in a way an ambassador and we must be proud of them rite?

The recent Singapore Season in Beijing is a cultural event promoting Singapore's cuisine, arts and fashion and the like. Attending the event is our very own Senior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. I was wondering who can be the best representative of (Singapore's) arts and fashion then our own HE YAO SUN or SUN HO!!??!! She is our fashionista, international pop sensation and beyond that, she sings with a great heart..reaching out in the Special Olympics...man...not just brawns but brains PLUS character and talents! She is featured in the finale item...that sure is a great way to end the whole gala =)

I am way proud of her...and SO SHOULD YOU! =P
